The Riot Mako 12 Neptune with Impulse Drive is one of the lightest and most affordable propulsion kayaks on the market today. The Mako 12s propulsion system allows for hands free kayaking with the Impulse Pedal Drive System, this is great for when your arms need a break or you need your hands free for fishing.

The Impulse drive weighs in at 7.5lbs and is fully removable from the kayak which makes it easier to carry and store. You can switch between forward and backward movement effortlessly. The pilot rudder system provides excellent tracking and is easily managed with the side mounted hand steering lever. No complicated maintenance needed allowing the Mako 12 to be fully serviceable by the user.

The Mako 12 Neptune features plenty of deck rigging and an abundance of t-tracks to mount all of your additional gear. The high comfort movable seat with breathable mesh fabric will perfectly adapt to your body and seating position. The perforated foam seat also helps keep your bottom dry by allowing any water that comes on board to flow through. High visibility reflective life lines on both sides of the boat will keep you visible to other boaters at dusk and dawn. The ergonomic molded-in front handle makes it incredibly easy to lock up at the cabin, home, in a truck bed, or to an existing car rack system.

The added length on the Mako 12 when compared to the Mako 10 makes it more capable in open water settings and more stable to stand up on for fishing. Tracking is enhanced with the added length as well as the overall top speed. Whether you're fishing, swimming/snorkelling, or just going for a paddle it can handle almost any activity on the water. Paddlers with longer legs, large body types or paddlers with limited flexibility sometimes feel more comfortable paddling a sit-on-top kayak.
