Smart weatherproofing

The Stir hiking packs utilize a waterproof drop liner and 3/4 rain cover which combine to make your pack more accessible, increasing durability and keeping your gear drier in comparison to a traditional rain cover. This storm proof pack was designed so that you still have access to the side pockets of your bag without needing to remove the rain cover.

Light weight design

The Stir 40L was designed to be as light weight as possible, weighing in at only 2.85 pounds. This was done by taking out some of the features that added additional weight onto Thule's other technical hiking bags, which are more commonly used for multiple day trips.

Easy access storage

The Stir 40 Litre pack uses an easy open storm flap which simplifies getting in and out of your bag while also keeping water out. The Stir lid opens in one fluid motion giving you quick access to the contents of your bag. The 35 Litre bag also uses a front shove-it pocket giving you the ability to easily store extra layers for quick access.
