Rhino-Rack S512 Folding J-style Roof Mounted Kayak Carrier

The Rhino-Rack S512 is a roof mounted folding J-style kayak carrier. The S512 is designed to transport your kayak on edge giving you the ability to save space allowing for a second kayak or other item to be mounted on the other side of your roof rack.

Universal mounting hardware

The S512 uses universal mounting hardware which allows it to be compatible with the majority of factory and after market crossbar systems

Paddle holder

The S512 includes a removable paddle holder that allows you to attach your paddle onto the back side of your kayak carrier. This allows you to save space on your crossbar system along with getting your paddles out of your vehicle.

J-style kayak carrier

The main advantage of J-style kayak carriers are the fact that they take up less space on the roof of your vehicle. This makes it easier if you are planning on carrying additional gear such as more kayaks or even bikes.

Adaptability to carry a second kayak

To carry a second kayak on your S512 all you require is the Rhino-Rack S512X kayak extension. The S512X mounts onto your S512 kayak carrier allowing you to mount a second kayak on your roof.

Full single boat carrying kit

The S512 comes with all the necessary accessories to get you started including: 2 cradles, stainless steel hardware, rubber tube padding and four tie down straps.
