Our rental fleet includes the Thule 628 Force Large Ski and Cargo Box which offers 16 cubic feet of cargo capacity, carries skis and snowboards up to 184 cm's long and can fit 5-7 pairs of skis or 3-4 snowboard.
Our rental box will attach to Thule and Yakima crossbar systems as well as most factory installed crossbars. If you do not already have crossbars installed on your vehicle we also rent crossbars for most vehicles. Please contact us to determine if we have a rental roof rack for your vehicle.

Ski and Snowboard Rack Rental Fleet
Our rental fleet includes the Thule 92725 FlatTop 6 Ski and Snowboard Rack which carries up to 6 pairs of skis or up to 4 snowboards. The exact carrying capacity will depend on the width of your skis and snowboards.
Our rental ski and snowboard rack will attach to Thule and Yakima crossbar systems as well as most factory installed crossbars. What do you need to do a rental?
When doing a rental at Racks For Cars we have a few requirements which help us keep our rental product in excellent shape and ensure the products can be enjoyed by future customers. Here is what we require in-order to complete a rental:
Valid Driver's License - We require a Valid Driver's License to be present in the store on all rentals. Signed Rental Agreement - When completing your rental in the store you must completely fill out and sign the rental agreement. Security Deposit - We require a security deposit in either the form of a credit card imprint. This imprint is given back to you once the products you have rented are returned to us in the condition they went out in. We reserve the right, at any time, to pre-authorize the credit card for the full purchase price of the rental product. Refundable Cleaning Deposit - We require a $40 cleaning deposit on all rentals. All of our rental products go out clean and we expect them to come back clean. If you bring the products back clean the Cleaning Deposit will be refunded. We recommend taking products to a wand wash or wiping them down with soap and water prior to returning them.
Can I make a reservation?
YES!
Reservations for rental products are highly encouraged. While we try our best to have enough rental products in stock, sometimes demand exceeds supply, especially at busy times of the year such as long weekends and holidays.
Reservations can be made either in the store or over the phone. However, all rentals done over the phone are non-refundable. Reservations made in the store are subject to our rental cancellation policy, see details in-store. Please make your reservation at the store location which you intend to rent the products from.
Full payment of the rental and cleaning deposit is required to make a reservation. Security deposit is collected upon pick up of your rental products.
