RockyMounts TomaHawk Upright Bike Carrier - Black

The RockyMounts TomaHawk is a versatile upright roof mounted bike rack. The TomaHawk is a tire mounted bike which means your bike is secure in place using a ratcheting swing-arm along with two stabilizing wheel straps. The TomaHawk is designed to give you the ability to carry Fat Bikes with up to a 5 inch wide tire.

No frame contact

Since the TomaHawk uses a tire mounted front clamp and two ratcheting wheel straps that go through the tires, your bike is securely attached onto your bike rack without any frame contact. This is especially important if you don't want your bike scratched or you have a carbon fibre frame.

Fits the widest variety of bikes on the market

The TomaHawk bike rack has the ability the ability to carry bikes with a tire size ranging from 20 inches up to 29ers. The TomaHawk is also the only upright bike carrier with the ability to carry up to a 5 inch fat bike right out of the box.

Universal mounting

The TomaHawk utilizes a universal style of mounting hardware which gives you the ability to mount your TomaHawk onto a wide variety of crossbars right out of the box. This includes Thule Aerobars, Whispbars, Rhino crossbars and the majority of factory crossbars.

Lockable

In order to secure the rack onto your vehicle and your bike onto the rack you will require two RockyMounts lock cylinders (sold separately). The first one goes into the ratcheting arm and prevents someone from being able to loosen off the clamp on your tire. The second lock is used to secure the mounting hardware onto your vehicle preventing someone from removing the rack itself off of your vehicle.
