The RockyMounts Hendrix folding bike lock provides you with the strength of a U-lock but folds down to the size of your phone. The Hendrix is the perfect bike lock for those on the go who don't want to deal with the size of a ULock or the messiness of a cable lock. The Hendrix uses hardened 3mm thick rubber coated steel plates which unfold up to 70 cm (27" long) and provides a security rating of 7 out of 10. The Hendrix also includes a water bottle cage mounting bracket for easy storage of your lock on your bike.

Researched bike locks on-line for the latest and most highly recommended small, lightweight, easy to carry, bike lock. This lock was the one recommended for everyday use for cyclists who want to stop off in public areas for a meal. The lock is versatile, flexible, and can go around larger posts/trees than my old U-Lock could. However, the joints can be cut with a chain/bolt cutter, so it is not recommended for locking your bike up overnight - stick with your U-Lock for that. This lock fits into your pocket or can be attached to your bike. I searched on-line for a retail outlet and the best price was offered by "racksforcard.com". $30 cheaper than Amazon.ca and it was delivered to my door in Montreal a week later. Great job!
