Thule 849000 Hull-A-Port Aero - J-Style Kayak Carrier

The Thule 849000 Hull-a-port Aero is an innovative kayak carrier that is safe, stylish, easy to use. The Hull-a-port Aero is a J-style kayak carrier that mounts directly into the top T-track of the Thule WingBars, Thule Aerobars, Yakima Jetstreams, or certain OEM roof racks.

Folds flat when not in use

The Hull-a-port can be folded into a flat position while not in use. This is done using the release handle located at the front of rack. Folding the rack down gives you better access into parking garages or other low clearance areas, however you do always want to keep in mind the additional height added to your vehicle by having a roof rack.

Track mounting hardware

The Hull-a-port Aero is designed to be mounted into the top T-track of the Thule WingBars, Thule Aerobars, Yakima Jetstreams, or certain OEM roof racks. If you have Thule square bars you can purchase the Thule Thule SquareBar Adapter which is sold separately.

Locks included

The Thule 849000 Hull-A-Port Aero includes a pair of locks which prevents theft of the kayak carriers from your crossbars.

Tie down straps included

The Thule 849000 includes a pair of cam buckle straps to secure your boats onto the roof rack as well as a pair of bow and stern tie downs to secure the kayak to the front and rear of your vehicle. If your vehicle does not have existing front and rear tie downs you can use the Thule 529 Hood Loop for the front tie down points and the Thule 530 Quick Loop for the back tie down.
