Thule OutLand Awning - 8.2 Ft - Roof Mount

The Thule Outland 8.2 foot awning is a roof top awning designed to be mounted directly onto roof racks. The Outland is quick and easy for someone to set up by themselves, and just as fast to roll up up and secure when you're looking to get back on the road. Awnings are ideal anytime you're looking to get outdoors as they provide you with quick protection from the elements.

Mounting kit included for Thule and Aftermarket roof racks

The Outland awning includes two different styles of mounting hardware in order to fit a wide range of crossbar systems. They include t-track mounting hardware that can be used with the Thule Wingbar, Probar, and other roof racks that have a track in the top. Also included is the around the bar mounting hardware that will fit bars up to 3.5 inches in width and a depth between 0.7" and 1.4".

Locking

For security Thule includes locking covers that attach over-top of the mounting hardware. This prevents someone from being able to remove the awning from your roof rack without the key.

Easy One Person Operation

The Outland awning is designed to be easily operated by one person. This is done using the push button operation that allows for one person to open the awning up and then pull out the integrated rails. Once the awning is unrolled you can fold out the support legs from the lead bar. Lastly you use the built in tensioning pump buckle to get the fabric to the perfect tension.

Light weight

The Thule awning was designed using aluminum in order to be light weight making it easy to get on and off the roof if you are switching between your awning and other accessories.
