Thule Rod Vault 2 Fly Rod Fishing Carrier

The Thule Rod Vault 2 Fly Fishing Rod Carrier is a roof mounted fly rod carrier that gives you the ability to carry up to 2 fully assembled fly rods up to 10’6 feet in length. The RodVault 2 is designed so it can be conveniently attached on the top of almost any vehicle with crossbars.

High quality construction

Built from the highest quality aircraft grade Aluminum tubes, with a non-abrasive plastic liner, and insanely tough reinforced nylon housing. The non-abrasive plastic liner on the inside of the aluminum tubes is designed to protect your fly rods from getting scuffed and rattled while traveling rooftop in your Rod Vault.

Universal mouting hardware

Universal mounting system fits a wide range of load bars including Thule Xsporter. The Rod Vault can be mounted can be mounted onto crossbars up to 3.5" wide and up to 1.5" thick, if you need to fit them around thicker bars replacement bolts can be purchased. In addition, the separation between the crossbars should be no less than 27".

Security for your gear

The reinforced nylon clamps not only offer a strong and effective way of attaching your Rod Vault 2 rooftop fly rod carrier unit to the cross members of your roof rack mounting system, but they are also built so you can lock the clamps to your cross members by using a small padlock (not included).
