Yakima GateKeeper Tailgate Pad - Large - Black

The Yakima GateKeeper Large in Black is a truck tailgate pad designed for quick load and go transport. The GateKeeper features a rugged nylon outer surface in order to limit wear and tear over the life time of the product.

The Yakima GateKeeper Large gives you the ability to carry up to six bikes with six individual SitTight cradles. The SitTight cradles are an individual cushioned cradle for each bike, you then secure the bikes in place using the G-hook buckles which provide extra stability to ensure your bike stays in place for the duration of the drive.

Uses individual cradles for each bike

Designed using individual bike cradles to give each bike a safe and secure ride. This is done using Yakima's patented SitTight cradles which prevent your bikes from shifting or sliding around during travel. You then use the G-Hook straps which secure the bikes in place providing further padding to protect your bikes finish.

Increased protection for both bikes and your truck

The GateKeeper is one of the first full length perimeter tailgate pads. This design prevents bikes with longer suspension forks from contacting your tailgate at any point. The inside has an extra-soft felt to protect the finish on your trucks tailgate.

Designed to work with back up cameras

The GateKeeper uses a HindSight™ which is a tuck-away cover that opens up the view for rear back-up cameras on trucks.
