Return Policy

For items shipped within Canada:

Racks For Cars Inc. accepts returns on items shipped within Canada within 14 days of the original purchase date provided that the item is complete, unused, has not been installed, and is in the original packaging including all manuals or instructions. A minimum 5% restocking fee applies to all returns.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns and the refund will be only refunded to the original purchasing credit card. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. The value of any missing or damaged items or damaged packaging will be deducted from the credit amount of the return.

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that returns are packaged properly, tracked, and insured. All shipping costs to return a purchase are the sole responsibility of the purchaser unless as a result of an error by Racks For Cars Inc. Items purchased using our free shipping program will be charged the outbound shipping charge based on the original shipping method.

Items marked as clearance, used items, lift tickets, replacement parts, replacement keys and locks, and items marked as special order are final sale and are not returnable.

All returns will require a return authorization number which will be provided by email only. Please email customerservice@racksforcars.com to request your return authorization number. Items returned without a return authorization number and/or shipped collect will be refused.

All deliveries refused by the purchaser are subject to our return policy plus the additional shipping charges to return the items. Refused cargo box shipments will be charged an additional $125.00 fee.

Items being returned must be sent to: 5605 99 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, T6E 3N8.

For items picked up in store:

Racks For Cars Inc. accepts returns on items picked up in store within 7 days of the original purchase date provided that the item is complete, unused, has not been installed, and is in the original packaging including all manuals or instructions. A minimum 5% restocking fee applies to all returns.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns and the refund will be only refunded to the original purchasing credit card. The value of any missing or damaged items or damaged packaging will be deducted from the credit amount of the return.

Items being returned must be returned to the same store that they were picked up from.

For items shipped to the Continental United States:

Racks For Cars Inc. does not accept returns on items shipped to the continental United States.

Refusing a delivery for any reason including the application of duties, tariffs, taxes and other charges by the United States Government, or damages to the product will not result in a refund to your credit card. All deliveries refused by the purchaser are subject to a minimum 50% restocking charge and the actual outbound and inbound shipping charges incurred by us.

Order Cancellation

Effective May 1st, 2021, online, phone, and in-store orders cancelled prior to being shipped or picked up from our store are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 5% of the order total. Once an order has been shipped or picked up it is subject to our return policy where restocking fees may apply.
