We’ve all been there. Packing for vacation, every seat is taken, the trunk seems to have an entire year’s worth of clothing for the family in it, the roof top cargo box is beyond full, and Junior is complaining because the sprockets on your mountain bike are digging into his skull. It can be difficult to admit, but it might be time for you to consider a trailer.
Yakima RACKandROLL Trailers are the ideal system for hauling lots of additional gear on a vehicle while saving space in your garage or backyard afterwards. Typical cargo trailers are enormous and need to be modified to carry crossbars to accommodate racks. Yakima’s RACKandROLL trailers are made of light-weight aluminum and fold flat for vertical storage in your garage. As a bonus, they’re already compatible with all of your roof rack accessories, right out of the box!
There are two different base models of the RACKandROLL trailer, depending on what length of crossbar you wish to use: the RACKandROLL 66 or the RACKandROLL 78. Both trailers require the use of a 2 inch trailer ball on a Class 1, 2, or 3 hitch receiver. A standard flat 4 electrical connector is required for the trailer’s tail light system to operate.
