Yakima 1A HiRise Spacers

The Yakima 1A HiRise Spacer is designed to give you more clearance on the original Yakima 1A Towers. The 1A HiRise Spacers are used in combination with the Yakima 1A Towers in order to provide you with an additional three and half inches of clearance. This gives you a total clearance of 10 3/4 inches to the top of the cross bar.

Common reasons for needing the additional clearance include use on camper vans or High rise canopies. The Yakima HiRise Spacer may also be of use depending on the items you are carrying. A common example is when you are carry a canoe on the roof of your vehicle. Depending on the rake of the canoe there is the potential for it to contact the roof. Often the additional three and half inches of clearance that is provided from the HiRise Spacer is enough to get the canoe off the roof of your vehicle.
