The Tepui Kukenam 3 Ruggedized roof top tent is the most popular model in the Ruggedized Tepui line up. The Tepui Ruggedized Kukenam is a great option for those looking to get into the wilderness with comfort and protection. It is also an excellent option for two or three people seeking additional headroom and gear space. You can expand the Kukenam even further by purchasing an optional annex. On this model the annex attaches behind the ladder with separate access from the tent.

The Ruggedized Series of Tepui tents are commonly used on the bed of trucks, 4x4 trailers and tough off-road rigs as they are heavier then what a lot of crossbar systems that attach onto the roof of a passenger vehicle can handle. The Ruggedized Kukenam 3 utilizes a heavy duty aluminum tube frame with diamond base panels so the underside of the tent will hold up to dings from rocks, branches, and whatever else the trail throws at it. They have also added heavy duty hinges, an anti-condensation mat, a heavier gauge wrapped internal frame, dual rainfly support rods, tie down anchor points and a 30lb density mattress giving you a ruggedized beast of a tent.
