Thule Rack for Corolla Cross with flush side rails

We recently had the opportunity to install a Thule roof rack onto a Corolla Cross which was equipped with the factory flush side rails. This customer needed a way to transport their skis to and from the local Edmonton Ski Hills but also to Jasper and Banff and planned on pairing this roof rack with the Thule Pulse Alpine.

The customer chose the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack System due to it's versatility, quiet bar design, and ease of removal and re-installation. The WingBar Evo offers a 127cm or 50" of usable crossbar space allowing the customer to not only carry their skis during the winter but also their kayaks in the summer.

Parts used in this installation:

Key Features of this roof rack system

  • Weight capacity of 165lb
  • Crossbar spacing of 29.5"
  • Usable space on crossbar of 127cm/50"
  • WingBar Evo offers a quiet roof rack design
  • Crossbars can be quickly removed leaving bases installed for quick on/off between uses
  • Locks installed into covers of Evo Fixed Point Foot Pack prevent theft of crossbars
