Installed - Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack and SnowPack Extender Ski Rack on a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe

The installation team at our Edmonton South location recently installed this Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack and Thule SnowPack Extender Ski Rack on a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe with raised side rails.

This customer needed a way to carrying their skis from Edmonton to Jasper over the holidays. The SnowPack Extender was the perfect choice as it has enough space to carry up to 6 pairs of skis and slides to the side to make loading and unloading the skis as easy as possible for the customer. We paired the ski and snowboard rack with the Thule Evo Raised Rail Foot Pack and Thule WingBar 135cm in the matching powder coated black finish.

Thule Evo Raised Rail - a great fit on the Hyundai Santa Fe

The Hyundai Santa Fe was redesigned in 2024 and now comes equipped with a raised side rail. These raised side rails are well positioned on the roof with the rails running nearly the entire length of the vehicle allowing for compatibility with a wide range of accessories. The side rails are also supported with a middle pillar adding strength to the rail for heavier loads such as a loaded roof box or a roof top tent.

The Thule Evo Raised Rail Foot Pack fits perfectly onto the Hyundai Santa Fe's raised side rail and when paired with the Thule WingBar Evo 135cm load bars offers a quiet, secure roof rack system with up to 165lbs of load capacity.

Thule SnowPack Extender - The perfect slide out ski rack

The Thule SnowPack Extender ski and snowboard rack is the perfect carrier for hauling your winter gear whether you are skiing and riding locally in Edmonton or if you are heading to the mountains in Jasper or Banff.

The SnowPack Extender has a slide out feature allowing for easy loading and unloading of your skis and snowboards. Simply push the large grey button to open the ski rack and push the interior grey handle to the side to allow you to slide the ski carrier out to the side of your vehicle. No more standing on slipper step bars or climbing up inside your doors with clunky ski boots.

The SnowPack Extender comes with two sets of mounting hardware. A universal hardware which wraps around your crossbars and a t-slot mounting hardware which allows the ski rack to attach directly to the upper channel of the Thule WingBar Evo. We chose the t-slot mounting hardware for this installation as it provides a cleaner aesthetic and lower profile ensureing the ski rack not only performs well but looks good too!
