The Curt 18145 Hitch Basket features a strong bolt-together design and is made with heavy-duty carbide steel and a tubular construction for increased strength The 18145 Curt Hitch Basket will fit into both 1.25" and 2" hitches, can hold up to 500 lbs. of cargo (weight capacity depends on hitch capacity) and has a durable black powder coat finish to resist rust, scratches and UV damage. It offers a total storage area of 48" x 20". One of the advantages of the basket style is its 6" high sides. These provide extra security and peace of mind during travel.
